Program Output
XZBACKUP’s Program Output backup type captures the stdout (standard output) of
any custom command or script—making
it ideal for protecting application-specific exports, dumps, or snapshots. Whether you’re exporting a database,
packaging data, or running automation tasks, XZBACKUP streams everything
directly into encrypted, deduplicated
storage without using local temporary disk space. You define the executable, arguments, and output filename;
XZBACKUP captures the complete output as a “virtual file” within each backup
snapshot
You can schedule recurring jobs to back up outputs like database exports (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL), Docker
images, WP database dumps, Proxmox/OpenVZ container snapshots, Neo4j dumps, and more. Backups are
incremental‑forever, can be restored as standalone files or piped back into other applications, and support live
browsing from the central console. With AES‑256 encryption, streaming deduplication, flexible scheduling, logs,
email alerts, and pre/post job scripts, XZBACKUP ensures your custom data
extractions remain safe, organized, and easily recoverable
